Profile/Bio:

Tanya is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in healthcare more than 19 years ago as a Nursing Assistant. Since that time, she quickly worked her way up from Nursing Assistant, EMT-I, License Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, to Nurse Practitioner. She earned her MasterĂ¢??s Degree in Nursing, with an Advance Practice Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from Marian University. She was driven to further her education and become a Nurse Practitioner in order to provide specialized care to her patients. When treating pain, Tanya uses a multidisciplinary approach and helps her patients take an active role in managing their pain and regaining control of their life.

Hobbies/Special Interests:

Tanya enjoys outdoor activities, kayaking, camping, hiking, gardening and spending time with her family. She also has a passion for volunteering at the humane society.
